The walking group are a very friendly group of U3A members who enjoy the outdoors. We are always pleased to welcome new members and if you think you might like to join us why not come along and give it a try, alternatively please feel free to contact the group coordinator Bob Tyas for more information.

We meet twice a month on the first and third Friday of the month. Most of our walks are within a 10 mile radius of South Woodham. Terrain varies so appropriate footwear and clothing is recommended. At the end of each walk we tend to visit a local café or pub for light refreshment.

Walking Holiday 2012 - Yorkshire Dales

Although at one point it looked a little doubtful I can now confirm that this is going ahead. If you have been wavering and now think that you might like to join us there is still time. You can get a booking form by clicking here. The deposit is £50 per person and I need the booking form and deposit as soon as possible.
